Privacy Policy
EFFECTIVE DATE: 04.07.26 · LAST UPDATED: 04.07.26Short version: Simple Initiative collects absolutely no personal data. Everything you enter stays on your device. We have no servers, no accounts, and no analytics.
This Privacy Policy describes how Two One Nine, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the Simple Initiative mobile application ("App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please read this policy carefully.
1. Information We Collect
We do not collect any information. Simple Initiative does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information, usage data, analytics, crash reports, or any other data of any kind.
- No account or registration is required
- No internet connection is required or used
- No data is sent to any server, including ours
- No third-party SDKs, analytics tools, or advertising networks are integrated
2. Data Stored on Your Device
The App uses iOS system storage (UserDefaults) solely to remember your preferred color scheme (dark or light mode) between sessions. This preference never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
All encounter data (combatant names, HP values, initiative scores, conditions) exists only in your device's active memory for the duration of your session and is not saved or persisted anywhere.
3. No Third-Party Data Sharing
Because we collect no data, we share no data with any third parties. There are no advertising partners, data brokers, or analytics providers involved with this App.
4. Children's Privacy
Simple Initiative does not collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The App complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Because no data is collected, there is no risk to children's privacy.
5. Apple Platform
Simple Initiative is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect certain information as part of their platform services (e.g., download counts, crash reports submitted by users). This data is collected by Apple under their own Privacy Policy, which can be found at apple.com/legal/privacy. We do not have access to any individually identifiable data through Apple's platform tools.
6. Changes to This Policy
If we ever change our data practices, we will update this Privacy Policy and revise the "Last Updated" date above. Because we currently collect no data, any future change would only reduce privacy if we began collecting data — in which case we would provide prominent notice and, where required by law, obtain your consent before doing so.
7. Your Rights
Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, delete, or export on your behalf. You have complete control over all data within the App — it lives only on your device.
